JLE Industries, LLC – one of the nation’s fastest growing asset based logistics companies – has just opened its brand new, state-of-the-art Operations center in the vibrant Waterfront district of Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally, we have launched our new 3PL and Brokerage Department! We have an immediate need for Logistics Manager/Coordinators/Representatives, to direct, plan, and manage the daily activities and operations of our 3PL & Brokerage Operations, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with real career advancement opportunity. Candidates must possess a minimum of one-year experience in asset based, 3PL, or Brokerage organization. An entrepreneurial spirit, excellent multi-tasking ability, and high energy are a must.



•Analyzes markets and identifies changes within the freight industry to optimize lane capacity and margins.

•Identifies and generates new sales and market opportunities.

•Responsible for carrier development to broker loads efficiently.

•Maintains records of accessorial shipment charges to ensure reimbursement.

•Negotiates pricing with shippers, customers and carriers.

•Works collaboratively with billing team to address issues to ensure proper customer invoicing.

•Communicates effectively with customer service and fleet departments regarding capacity and backhaul coverage.

•Manages and monitors multiple systems to ensure adequate supply of capacity, on-time performance and problem resolution challenges are addressed and communicated timely.

•Assesses customer and carrier performance and provides feedback to management team.

•Works continuously to improve service levels and offers ongoing recommendations for process improvements.

•Escalates/Engages Manager as needed to ensure a positive customer experience


•Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Minimum of 1 years experience in a brokerage logistics environment.

•Excellent interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal

•Must be highly organized, with an attention to detail and be able to prioritize effectively

•Ability to handle multiple tasks timely and professionally

•Ability to remain professional and courteous with internal/external customers at all times.
